Spring 2021 Season
We are very excited to announce that our in-town and travel programs will be returning to play this Spring! We have been working to develop contingency plans for various COVID-19 scenarios. We will be providing additional updates and more granular details to players and their families as we get closer to the season in April; however, we did want to share some initial details:
· All Andover players, coaches and spectators will be required to wear masks at all practices and games.
· Spectators at all games and practices will be limited to one per player.
· Our governing body, Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA), has updated its protocols to allow for soccer to be played without any of the controversial game modifications that were instituted over the summer.
· Essex County Youth Soccer Association (ECYSA), the league in which our travel teams play, is moving forward with planning for the Spring season and has announced an Opening Day of April 10th for travel games to begin.
Registration for players and coaches will open in the coming days, so please be on the lookout for that email this week.
Happy New Year!
Chris Price
